The Ontario Building Code | Combustible Glazing in Exits

3.4.1.10. Combustible Glazing in Exits

(1) Combustibleglazing is not permitted in wall or ceiling assemblies or in closures used to construct anexit enclosure.

In Plain Language

Combustible glazing is prohibited in the walls, ceilings, or closures of an exit stair enclosure, since a fire-rated escape route shouldn't include materials that could ignite and undermine its protection.
