PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS

A contractor or owner-builder may not begin construction work, except maintenance, repair or demolition work, on an elevator or other elevating device to which Chapter IV of the Construction Code applies, unless the plans and specifications have been prepared for the work, where information is required, in respect of the work, under section 2.28 or 3.28 of the Code.
The plans shall be drawn to scale and shall, with the specifications, indicate the nature and scope of the work in such manner as to establish if the work carried out complies with section 4.02.
